What are some healthy habits of super healthy people?

Meet - Man Kaur (born March 1, 1916) is an Indian track-and-field athlete. She holds the world records in the Over-100 years old categories for a variety of events. Man Kaur has won multiple gold medals at the World Masters Athletics Championships. Age doesn’t matter - “If wrinkles must be written upon our brows, let them not be written upon the heart. The spirit should never grow old”.

 

1. They carry a water bottle:

 

Drinking sufficient water boosts your metabolism and helps the body properly break down food. Water is a detoxifier that helps to flush out toxins and get rid of waste primarily through sweat and urine. Headaches and migraines are often caused by dehydration. So, to get some relief, drink plenty of water.

 

2. They take the first chance to exercise:

 

Want to be sharper at work? Feel less tired at home? Spend some quality time with your spouse? How about enjoying a cookie without guilt?

If you answered "yes" to all of these questions (and who wouldn't?), exercise is the answer.

Regular exercise is an important part of a healthy lifestyle. Study after study shows the benefits it can have. Not only does regular exercise help you manage your weight and reduce your risk of developing diseases, it can help prevent and treat mental health problems. It can boost your wellbeing and mood, and is a great way to unwind from the stresses of life.

 

3. They always follow healthy eating plan:

 

A healthy eating plan gives your body the nutrients it needs every day while staying within your daily calorie goal for weight loss. A healthy eating plan also will lower your risk for heart disease and other health conditions.

A healthy eating plan:

1. Emphasizes vegetables, fruits, whole grains, and fat-free or low-fat dairy products

2. Includes lean meats, poultry, fish, beans, eggs, and nuts

3. Limits saturated and trans fats, sodium, and added sugars

 

4. They always avoid addictive behavior ( Drinking, Smoking, Tobacco etc) :

It’s very well written - “If you can’t stop smoking the cancer will”.

That’s why healthy people avoid addictive behavior because they were aware of these facts well enough.

Regular smoking and drinking increases your risk of cancers of the lung and liver. The damage to your body starts from smoking just one cigarette. Some people think alcohol is good for the heart but it’s not true. Even though red wine does contain natural antioxidants, this is in small amounts and the risks of alcohol outweigh the benefits. Excessive alcohol consumption can lead to a loss of productivity, risky behaviour such as drink driving, and even violent behaviour

 

5.They Express Gratitude:

 

This is a super healthy habit that will nourish your mind and soul. When you appreciate the things you have, the people in your life, all the goodness that surrounds you, you can’t help but have a more peaceful state of mind. When you show your appreciation for those around you and the things they do, as well as who they are, you will build stronger, healthier relationships, and that is good for body and soul.

 

6. They get enough sleep:

 

This habit is by far the easiest and more fun. You don’t need to put extra effort, just lie down on your comfort bed with warm covers and lost in your dreams you wish to achieve one day. Find me something that’s more satisfying than that.
